Positive: I like the location, the quiet environment with lots of restaurants and the local shops. The apartment was very clean, spacious and with good sized rooms. The amenities were good and functioned well.
Good communication and prompt response with the property before and during my stay.
Important and useful information were provided through Booking.com and on the notice board in the apartment.
Negative: Not being informed about the coin metered AC before my arrival. This was not a problem, but I think it would have been good if mentioned alongside the information given at Booking.com.

Do not waste your money!!!
Positive: The bed linen appeared clean, and each bedroom had its own bathroom and air conditioning. Unfortunately, there is very little else positive I can say about our stay.
Negative: Very disappointing and definitely not worth the price. The apartment is old, worn and poorly maintained, with stained walls, dirty-looking floors, extremely uncomfortable beds and broken-looking folding bathroom doors that barely close.
Check-in is very late (15:00) and check-out very early (10:00). We arrived at 08:35 with tired children and repeatedly asked for an earlier check-in, but the hosts showed no flexibility or willingness to help. They would not even store our luggage unless we paid an additional €20 per day, so we had to spend hours outside in the heat with our luggage.
The air conditioners also have individual meters. Although we were specifically told not to worry about them, the credit on the living-room AC ran out on the second day and we could no longer use it.
The location is not particularly central either—around an 18-minute walk to central Sliema, much of it uphill, with no sea view.
Overall, the hosts were unhelpful and unwelcoming, the apartment was not properly clean or maintained, and the price was far too high for what was provided. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.

Echt geweldig! We konden last minute nog terecht na een slechte ervaring bij een andere airbnb.
Schoon, fijne keuken, ruime woonkamer, ruime balkon en alle slaapkamers hadden een eigen badkamer en airco. Wij hebben genoten! Locatie ook goed.
Enige slechte wat ik kan bedenken dat de foto’s van de advertentie het appartement te kort doen!

This was our third accommodation in less than 24 hrs. The first one was disgusting, there was no key left for us then when we eventually got given a key we had to climb 106 stairs at 10.30pm with a suitcase as the lift was out of action. Not even a bottle of water in fridge when we made it. Owner said lift had gone off that morning but downstairs tenants who live there informed us it had been out of action 2 months! The second apartment which I had to book and pay for and then get a taxi, was not made up when we arrived and it was really dark and unwelcoming inside, flickering lights, dismal! We were then offered a third apartment which was really clean, not much of a view unless you wanted to look into your neighbours across the road. The cleaning staff (especially Marion the boss) was fantastic and really helpful and she made our stay worthwhile, so thank you Marion! Not a lot to do in this part of Sliema, no places to sit in the sun either in the apartment or even the local beach.
